Fall sowing is at peak right now. I am almost done with planting the bulbs except the hyacinths. Other spring flowering
annuals are sprouting as well. Only few flowers managed to continue their bloom in this month of november. These are Blooms of rain lily, hibiscus and night jasmine. The first is white
rain lily, zephyranthes candida.
The other flower in bloom is white ginger lily or butterfly ginger lily with botanic name Hedychium coronarium
Another plant which blooms in october and november with heavenly fragrance is sad tree or night jasmine with botanic
name Nyctanthes arbortristis. Its flowers drop at night.

I just love the photo of the white rain lily….just beautiful. I have hibiscus in my garden but not such a lovely purple one….anytime I see such lovely flowers I immediately want some for myself! 🙂 Thanks for sharing these!
Night blooming jasmine was just added to my garden this summer and its blooms are amazing! One plant sends frangrance throughout the garden!
I love rain lily, especially when its naturalized in the grass. My butterfly gingers never fully flowered this year because it was too dry… 🙁

I love jasmines, but these were slightly different from the ones we commonly have here,

Wow, your photos are lovely. But that hibiscus is unique to me coz i haven’t seen it here, it looks like H.syriacus with additional unusual petals at the center.
